Bella Poarch
Bella Poarch, born on 9 February 1997 in the Philippines to Filipino biological parents. Her grandmother grew up in slums until she was three years old, when she was adopted. Her adopted family is comprised up of an Filipino adoptive mother as well as an white American soldier. She says she and her adopted brother were abused from when she was a child until she enlisted. The family relocated to Texas at the age of 13 due to her father needing bypass surgery. They spent a few months there in San Francisco with her aunt. The physical attack was less severe, however she still dealt with the psychological abuse her father suffered in her home. When she was 18years old, Poarch joined the United States Navy. Poarch started with her TikTok account around April of 2020 quickly gaining fame amassing more than 40 million users within less than eight months. Her videos were uploaded in a variety of formats, however her most popular hit was a music video featuring Millie B's viral song Soph Aspin Send. This became one of TikTok's most viewed videos. The video was zoomed-in on her dancing and lip-syncing along to the tune went viral. When she joined TikTok the site, she set up a YouTube account, as well as one on Twitter to increase her fame.
