Nadia Elena Comaneci

In 1976, the Montreal Olympic Games was the time when she broke the record as the first athlete who scored a perfect 10 in asymmetric bars. She went on to achieve another perfect 10 and became the youngest Olympic all-around gold medalist at only 14. Nadia Comaneci was able to attract international attention and aid in helping Romania to establish itself as a major player on the international stage. In achieving an unachievable result she became an iconic image and helped promote gymnastics across the globe. Women's perception of gymnasts was changed by her performance. The effect she had on Olympics was so great that two of her moves, the toe-on move and release, are designated in honor of her. Both have been rated as high-level difficulty. Also, she performed very well in World Championships, European Championships and the Olympics. That made her a legend, and she's among the most famous gymnasts in the world. The 'Queen of the Olympics attempted her hand at modeling and promoting sports equipment after her defection from the US. Nadia Nadia Nadia Nadia 2 Nadia
